2025.03

Welcome to the Relevant Yield Feature and Information Letter!

Welcome, dear user of Relevant Yield, to the second release of 2025. This one is slightly smaller, as we are working on a few larger projects that we will present soon!

We recommend that you check out the improved SPO capabilities we have added:

  1. Improved Supply Path Optimisation (SPO)
  2. CSV support for web-analytics Imports
  3. More Bidder/SSP connections
  4. Improved AI Assistant functionality: history & Prebid parameters
  5. Prebid Server updated to 3.13
  6. Improved support for running Amazon in combination with Xandr Adserver

The release will be made available throughout the rest of the week.

1. Improved Supply Path Optimisation (SPO)

We have improved the HB Manager GUI to make it easier to optimise around what SSP/Bidder is being used for which country. It is now possible to simply set this by selecting the countries for which you do not want to call a specific SSP/Bidder.:

Some SSPs prefer to handle SPO themselves and receive all traffic from the publisher. Therefore, it might be a good idea to contact your SSP representative and ask how they would prefer this to be managed - this is also why we have made it configurable on an SSP-by-SSP basis.

A good starting point is to generate a report based on the country and SSP dimensions to assess an SSP’s efficiency in a particular country. If there is a high volume of traffic but little to no revenue, that SSP could be a good candidate to disable for that country.

You can learn more about how to set it up here.

What's in it for you?

A way to eliminate unnecessary calls to SSPs/Bidders that have little to no demand in specific regions -  while still maintaining full control for SSPs/Bidders that prefer SPO to remain inactive on the publisher side.

Naturally, limiting calls from traffic that generates no revenue is also beneficial for the environment!

2. CSV Support for Web Analytics Imports

You can now import data via CSV from any web analytics platform you use. Previously, data could only be imported through APIs but now CSV imports are also supported, allowing you to integrate this data into the Ad Revenue Insight module in Relevant Yield.

If you would like to know more about how to add a CSV import for your web analytics, you can read about it here.

What's in it for you?

An easy way to add data like Page impressions from your analytics tool of choice. As this is CSV based, it can be used with any analytics system that can provide a daily CSV as a scheduled report or similar.

3. More Bidder/SSP Connections

We have added or improved connections for the following solutions:

  • Twiago (Adspirit)
  • Media.net

4. Improved AI Assistant Functionality: History & Prebid Parameters

We have updated the AI Assistant with a couple of new features:

  • History: Your past queries are now stored, allowing you to revisit them later.

5. Prebid Server Updated to 3.13

We have now updated Prebid Server to version 3.13.

What is in it for you?

Increased bidder compatibility and potential regulatory updates. If you need specific information about this update, you can always ask the AI Assistant, as it can provide you with everything from Prebid.

6. Improved Support for Running Amazon in Combination with Xandr Adserver

We have made it a bit easier to run your Amazon TAM/UAM in combination with Xandr as an ad server.

What is in it for you?

More options for choosing which ad server you want to work with, both in relation to Prebid and Amazon TAM/UAM.
